“Do what you can, with what you have, where you are.” -Theodore Roosevelt
The intimate, yet convenient office setting I provide individuals and their families allows the protection of one's privacy and confidentiality while receiving counseling services. As a Mental Health Counselor I have truly enjoyed my work with children/adolescents, adults, couples, and families. I work with my clients and their families by providing healthy coping skills and empowering them to feel confident enough to achieve their goals in and outside of the therapeutic setting. Life can be difficult at times and I never want any of the individuals I work with to feel they are in it alone.
Each client's objectives are established individually and collaboratively based upon their needs for treatment. The therapeutic alliance is critical in my work with clients and a key component to creating and achieving one's goals.
Interagency collaboration is a fundamental component to my therapeutic approach. Through incorporating an integrative piece to therapy, I am better able to meet my client and their family's needs by involving the necessary providers and school personnel into treatment.
